Our focus is on implementing high industry standards for the installation of pool equipment and components to protect all parts of the pool, promote longevity, prevent damage to the surface finish interior, and ensure the best swimmer comfort, equipment protection, and sanitizer efficiency.
A Chlorinator with diagnostic capabilities, including cell life tracking. Captures all performance data daily. Intellichlor chlorinators have easy push-button operation and easy-to-view displays enable fast checking of salt levels, chlorinator cell cleanliness, cell sanitizer output, and water flow.
Automatic shut-off feature protects the chlorinator and prolongs chlorinator cell life under low water temperature conditions.
Salt should only be introduced into the pool after 28 days from the date of resurfacing. Regular testing of Salt, chlorine, pH, Alkalinity and Calcium hardness is required to keep pool balanced and avoid staining, scale or etching of pool surface.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Test levels at least 2 times per week.
The amount of salt in your pool and the amount or chlorine being produced are independent of each other. Adding more salt to pool water above manufacturers recommended requirements does not improve the efficiency or increase the generation of chlorine.

SaltScapes™ Test Strips ensure correct salt and balancer levels to ensure the best swimmer comfort, equipment protection, and sanitizer efficiency.
Saltwater chlorinated pools require routine oxidation or "shocking" as any other chlorine pool does. This can be accomplished using SaltScapest™ Non- Chlorine Shock Oxidizer. This promotes clear water and reduces "demand" placed on the chlorine generator. additional oxidation will be needed after heavy bathing loads to destroy contaminants such as perspiration, suntan lotions, hair sprays, body oils, urine, pet dander, and cosmetics. Readily destroying these pollutants will avoid staining. Oxidizer can be added after heavy bather loads, rain or if contamination is suspected. Alternative shock options are SaltScapes™ Granular Shock or SaltScapes shock tabs.
Saltwater chlorinators produce calcium hypochlorite chlorine which is a calcium-based compound. Therefore, BioGuard Saltscapes scale defender™ or BioGuard Scale inhibitor ishould be used as ongoing maintenance prevent scaling on pool surfaces.
Not all pool salts are created equal. Some "pool salts" may introduce impurities such as iron, or organic contaminants in trace amounts which may build up and stain the pool when salt is added to meet recommended levels. We highly recommend using high quality purified salts such as Mineral Springs® to protect your surface finish and equipment. Always maintain correct levels of stabilizer.
